Good morning everyone!
Im fairly new to this site so i apologise if this thread is in wrong place.
Just a question i hope someone will be able to help me out with. Ive nearly completed VTCT Swedish Massage, done Indian Head and Hot Stone. Im currentlyplanning some promotion work for myself, however is it ok to call myself Complimentry Therapist??????????
I wasnt sure if u needed something in particular for that, or is it something i could say. If anyone else has any other ideas, all inputwould be greatly appericated.

Hi Rainbow Girl,

Yes, I'd say it was fine to call yourself a complementary therapist.There's no rules that say you have to have studied a particular number of disciplines or hold any specific qualifications, so go for it!Another term you could usewould bea holistic therapist, although be careful with that one because a lot of people won't know exactly what that means if they're not already interested in CAM.

Just a quick one, I noticed that you said that you are dyslexic, and I was wondering if that caused any problems whill on your course, as I'm starting a course in september and I am also dyslexic and I'm worried about how thiswill effect me and my work.
