Whats the best way to shave for a newbie?

Okay so im an asian girl so as most asian parents think its unnecessary to shave.I don't wanna argue with them cuz it will get me no where and plus my mom barely has any!!!idk how that's possible cuz she doesn't at all shave!!
I heard the best way to shave for asian girls is to use Hair conditioner cuz its better for ur skin and ur hair well leg hair.
And since razors are all the same i decided to use my dads and i know u need hot water but whats the best way and if i do need to buy something i'll convince my mom....It might not work so if there is a way please tell

Hi. Alot depends on where you are shaving as far as technique goes. The general rule is to shave down the length of the hair but i personally find that difficult on the legs.
One thing that is important is to make sure you exfoliate regularly to help prevent ingrowing hairs.

If you are able go and have the area waxed. Many colleges do this at a very low rate.

Dont use your dads razor - or anyone elses. There could be cross contamination plus the blades on mens razors are set to shave a specific thype of hair.

Talk to your mum or sympathic aunt/cousin.

To shave
Wash the area
Apply a shaving foam or oil - rub it gently in
Sit down so you are steady and apply strokes down the length of the hair
Wash foam off
Leave it 30 mins and apply a gentle moisturiser

BTW - many womens razors have safety sheilds so you dont nick yourself.

Tell your mom, first off, that you're going to shave, b/c it feels right for you.
Hair conditioner is great for any ethnicity, b/c it hydrates, so you don't have to moisturize afterward, like you do w/ regular shaving cream.
I use it sometimes, it's a real timesaver.
