Those ones in Markham and likely Oakville are from more affluent families, have cars, luxury car it seems or are driven around and don’t require public transit They probably may not even need to work. York region public transit is really inefficient and offers very poor coverage compared to the TTC anyway. I have seen some stunners in the east part of Markham where wealthy Indians are setting up, away from the York region Chinese, wealthy beautiful married Indian ladies and single students are to be found shopping or walking around.

To each their own but there is nothing appealing about a FOB Indian to me. There's nothing sexy about that thick accent. It's worse than a FOB Filipina accent IMO. Many of them also possess some of the awful stereotypes associated with a segment of their people. It's like they're trying to be walking caricatures. I don't know why anyone would want that. The difference between a FOB and a westernized Indian is day and night from the way they dress, do their make-up, practice personal hygiene, mix with all kinds of races etc. As it was said above, most of the really desirable Indian ladies are from Oakville or Markham. I'd also like to add Vaughan and Ottawa as other places where there are plenty of beautiful, WESTERNIZED Indians.

They have every right to be here and I respect their space but I personally just avoid places or neighborhoods where most of them flock. They're not my cup of tea. Their collective personality to me is off-putting. I have nothing against the whole race, just that small segment. And this is coming from a guy whose first and all-time favourite MPA was Indian.

Well you're Western Indian brother. It's East Indian FOBS I referred to, particularly the Punjabis/Sikhs who have flooded the GTA, mostly the Toronto 6ix area. They've invaded every big chain fastfood (Pizza Pizza/Tim's), bank, security company, gas station etc. There's really no need for anyone to be offended though because I meant no malice.

No race is monolithic so it's unfair to heap popular stereotypes on an entire race. However, these stereotypes do exist and are predominant in certain segments of an ethnic group. I like to observe behaviours and there are so many stereotypes among the E.I. FOBS that I find off-putting and because there are so many of them in every establishment, I feel fatigued being around them so I avoid them during my off days. Obviously, if I got to know each one individually and beyond the surface level, I know I'll be pleasantly surprised.

It's fine. We're already like the U.K. in that sense. Financially, I already have an exit plan because living in the GTA has been very insufferable with the rampant homelessness/junkies roaming around freely and the fatigue of being around these FOBs. I work for the City but don't plan on collecting my pension.

Honestly, it wouldn't look like much because I don't trust the government. You have to make your own luck. Anyone that sits on their hands waiting for some government policy to benefit them is a loser. They can vote for an official and hope they deliver but to expect it is stupid.
