can i bring her with me to a parlour? would they be okay with generally?

Hello uprising I don't think springing it on your GF as a suprise would be a good idea, why don't you mention it to her then maybe book a room at a nice hotel and have a lady visit. The you would be on mutual ground and your GF may be more relaxed
