I was curious... when visiting a SB (sneha/kishore) as a solo newbie... if you do a walk in without a reference, would you be denied entry?

I have a fairly good idea about how things work once I'm seated inside (thanks to the advice from fellow members in previous posts), just not sure if there is any procedure at the entry to ensure i am not denied.

Went to Laila bar yesterday, some bizzare dress code. It seems they are advised not to wear lehengas , sarees etc. So all of them were in churidhars, kurtas, jeans/ tshirts !! Seems to be dress code for few more days.. Still cannot comprehend what's a DB without chaniya cholis !!

Luckily no such restrictions or such other silliness at Dasil, Red Rose, WhatsApp , Dilruba ..


Few observations:

Mayur has a new DJ for first floor. Looks similar to the ground floor one, maybe related!! but definitely not as annoying ! He only comes to your table when called !! First floor is quite brightly lit compared to GF, but patrons still unashamedly do what they have come for !!

Of Dasil, Red Rose , Laila and WhatsApp, whatsap definitely has better quality and dancers. Had 4-5 girls to dance, all claim to come from same region in Rajasthan !! Maybe a syndicate !!

Both Red rose and Whatsap were full for Monday evening. Laila and Dasil were pretty much empty.

Thankfully most of them have not hiked beer prices from last October. Mayur is still the cheapest.

Red rose locked it's front door from inside at 9. Dances were in full swing. Went to Whatsap at 9.15 and stayed until 11 when girls left. Went to Dilruba after that and they closed around 11.45. Black coat said they plan to keep it open till 1 from later this week. Hope it becomes true!!

Paid from 300 to 1K for dances.. no one complained or asked for more. Most are eager to perform and keep hanging about your table once you start paying for dances !!

In general the state of DBs reminds the statement in decline and fall of Roman Empire by Gibbon.. an empire don't fall in a day, but decays over a period..This COVID restrictions looks like the start of decline of DBs. Hope I am wrong and they pick up soon and good lookers return back. The quality at these bars were shocking from what it was last year. Particularly Laila and Red rose..The optimist in me says that I will probably visit soon to check if it has picked up or not !!!

Short FR on recent visit to Kishore.

Its been a gap of close to 5-6 months since I had last visited Kishore. Every time I used to visit the place used to be too crowded, so instead to waiting I used to move to some other place.
