Well, she will finally be back next week! I haven't seen her in ages. Per the text exchange below, I plan to take her out somewhere. When I started this thread, she would always make some sort of excuse not to go out with me (even though I could tell she had feelings for me). Luckily, something changed along the way and that's no longer an issue. Not sure where this is going but 2019 should be an interesting year...

I don't know...maybe $30 or $40. Neither of us eat much so it will just be something simple like always.

Yes, no doubt. Unfortunately, a combination of factors (time availability, place availability, etc.) has put the "courting" process in super slow motion. It is what it is...

Well, let's say she works 6 days per week at the spa (long hours as you know). Then on her day off, I'm either working or have personal commitments. It's just hard to make the scheduling work, especially when neither of us have our own place.
Thus, even if she was willing to see me all the time outside of the spa, the reality is I can only usually find time to see her at the spa. The odd time on her day off, I may be able to go out with her but that's about it.

• She can meet up with somebody else as well

Every relationship is different, don't expect yours to be like anyone elses, especially if you cross cultures. I'm reminded of the movie As good As it Gets. Helen Hunt asks why it isn't perfect but that's too bad, it just isn't. Jack does good things for her and her son so she has to accept him as he is.

Now this girl does good things for you so enjoy. If she needs some money every week then pay up and feel good about it. If there's things you need then ask her and if she can't give what you want then move on. Christ told his disciples how to tell the difference between good and evil. If a tree bears good fruit then its a good tree. If not then chop it down and plant another.

You're married but you want to see her in other situations. That would be marital suicide. If that's what you want then just leave your wife and pay up. Once you're single you'll be a chick magnet. Until then not so much.

I’m glad this thread is still going, for better or worse it’s always reassuring to know that guys are not alone in their struggle for that elusive fantasy we all will succumb to in one form or another.
