VV focuses on 30min appointments, there have been a number of reviews that mention a girl giving a less quality appointment there vs. when at other spas...
The plan is 30min revolving door because it aint here for the long run. Bank what she can before bylaw and neighbours run her out of there (wheels in motion on this, turns out being beside children learning centers and selling sex isnt appreciated by surburbanites.)

I agree here, not sure about V&V but Golden Wellness loves the 30 min appointments (in, rub, flip and out) ..... and it make sense for the spa owners, a little less for the girls, very little for the customer.
The money is the driver here.
In a 30 min appointment the spa gets $40 ($30 for the spa $10 for the girl) and then say a $40, $50, $60 or $80 tip.
In a 60 min appointment the spa gets $60 ($40 for the spa, $30 for the girl) and then say a $40, $50, $60, $80 or $100 tip.
Spa owners can double their money with 30 minute appointments, simple math here boys ($30 an hour or $60 an hour).
Spa visits are down, tips are down, so in high traffic times the spas generlly prefer 30 minutes, very little work and quick cash. You'll note in most cases they will ask "30 minutes" .....
I've never had a 30 minute appointment, only 60 min, and tip in the $100 range most days, so the girls are happy to see me, they make $130 from a good person, clean, reasonably fit, reasonably handsome who is respectful and actually engages with them and I repeat with my regular girls often throughout the year. The point being, the spa owners (at Golden Wellness for example) are NOT happy with my visits, while the girls are, as the money works for the girls and not the spa.
Certainly not perfect, but would suggest that for the girls, its preferable to the cheap flipper who comes in (for 30 minutes) and the girl gets $10 for the room and $40 for the tip from some unresponsive simp. The spa owner prefers simp in most cases, with the odd exception I repeat, visit the same spas, so they know they have a long term customer. So in most cases if you support the spa they will support you.
GW is next door to a day care centre as well, I haven't been to V&V so I can't say, but note that Maple located right next door to the Provincial MPP on Rebecca which I thought was a very odd choice, obviously not understanding the consequences long term.
Owners and managers make the difference, it's a changed competitive environment here in the last 3 or 4 years a trend that will continue. The older neighbourhood spas are already suffering, they will fall slowly as the newer spas.
Just my perspective, I can speak to GW as I visited there often a few years ago. No comment on V&V noting the "overwhelming chatter" this past month or so ... I have noted that many members are not "thrilled" with all the girls, seems some of the girls are just average with average services ..... the comments and the reviews in general are in the 7/10 range from what I've read.
