What is the best way to introduce ourselves to the new neighbors?

we moved into this neighborhood in june and since then, we've had neighbors coming from right and left bringing us stuff they have baked and welcoming us to the neighborhood. There is a new couple that just moved in across from us that are a young couple like us with no kids. What is the best way to approach them and introduce ourselves? Do we need to bake something? (we are in our 20's and we think they are in their 20's)

bring them a bottle of wine. I just moved to a new neighborhood this month and all the neighbors who greeted me gave me a bottle of wine. I thought this was better then something homemade. I am in my 20's also.
